When you have an item to return or exchange simply bring in your original receipt, along with the item.
If you have questions about our policy, please talk to a Customer Service Team Member, or ask for a Store Manager.
For In-Stock products in good condition, an original receipt with a valid transaction number and barcode is required for all refunds and exchanges of products purchased but must be within 90 days of the original purchase date. Refunds and exchanges will be processed with the same tender as the original purchase transaction
Items not eligible for refunds or exchanges are (but not limited to):
McLendon Hardware is not responsible for any labor reimbursement for the application or installation of a defective product; however, the product may still be eligible for a refund or exchange.
We reserve the right to limit or refuse any returns or exchanges.
We will refund transactions for Cash, Debit and Credit Card purchases in the same tender as purchase and must be to the same card which must be provided at time of return
Check purchases will be refunded to you, by return of the original check made on the same day. If the refund is requested after the day of original sale, we will refund cash for a check purchase after a 14- working day waiting period, and only if there are no outstanding checks with us.
We will refund a gift card for gift card purchases.
We will refund McLendon charge accounts back to the same charge account used for the purchase.
Large purchase amounts (greater than $500.00) may need to be refunded by our accounting team via check by mail.
McLendon Team Members will attempt to research and find your original transaction if it was made during the previous 90 days; however, if it cannot be found, the refund will be in the form of a McLendon Gift Card, and the value of the merchandise will be calculated at the lowest sale price within the last 90 days, or 30% off the regular price; whichever is lower.
Photo I.D. (may request two sources of photo identification); name, address (physical location, not P.O. Box) and phone number are required, recorded and tracked for refunds and exchanges authorized without an original receipt.
