REQUEST FOR DONATIONS
HELPING THE COMMUNITY AND CITIES

McLendon Hardware opened in Renton in 1926. Moses (Pop) McLendon felt a strong commitment to support and help his community. As a locally-owned and family-operated business we still honor that commitment and feel the responsibility to give back to the communities in which we are located (Puyallup, Sumner, Kent, White Center, Woodinville as well as Renton).

We donate to various churches, schools, and many children’s organizations. We partner with cities, chambers, hospitals, and schools. We receive many donation requests every day and we participate in as many projects and events as possible. Unfortunately we can only fund a portion of the requests submitted.

We have developed an on-line application page for you to request assistance for your group, project or event. Once submitted your application will be sent to our Donation Eligibility Committee for consideration. The review process may take up to two weeks and all communication will be done by e-mail. This application is not to be considered a funding agreement and we will contact you when a funding decision is made. Please note that we make in-kind donations only. We are not making cash or gift card donations at this time.
